Born and raised in Mississippi, this 29 year old creative has cultivated a lifelong relationship with art, culture, and community. Formally mentored in the arts since the age of nine, she had developed a distinctive and virtuoso practice shaped by the richness of Southern culture, the enduring influence of her Mississippi roots, and a deep appreciation for the stories, traditions, and memories that make a place feel like home.

As a Jackson State University alumna, the artist’s work has been exhibited in the art museum within the very city she is native of. Consider it a full-circle achievement that speaks to both her artistic evolution and her enduring connection to community. 

Rooted in nostalgia yet inspired by the present, her work explores culture, identity, connection, and the beauty found in ordinary life. With an appreciation for both the modern and the timeless, she creates refined works that invite viewers to pause, remember, and see the familiar with renewed eyes.

At the heart of her practice is a desire to reconcile the divide between art, people, and life. Through each creation, she seeks to make art feel both elevated and accessible; all while encouraging communities to engage with art not simply as something to admire, but as something to experience, preserve, and witness. Her vision is to nurtue a renewed understanding of the arts and transform prosaic admirers into discerning collectors- whom do recognize the remarkable value, beauty, and story held within an original work of art.
